This Pirate Ship jigsaw puzzle is crafted in USA from sustainably sourced hardwood plywood. The detailed design is printed on the wood so the images won't scratch off with play. Twelve interlocking pieces conform to the shape of the ship and a drawstring pouch is included for easy storing.

The wooden pirate ship puzzle is very sturdy and attractive (hopefully) for the hands of a 4-year-old. The number and size of the puzzle pieces is appropriate for the age to make it fun and not frustrating. The puzzle comes with a storage bag, which was the deal maker for me since the busy parents don't need to be wrangling puzzle pieces. The one disappointment was the print of the pirate image is somewhat washed out and more vivid coloring would have been appreciated. It's a minor flaw.
