Stockmar Watercolors and Accessories Boxed Set

The Stockmar Aquarelle Watercolors Boxed set includes an assortment of 12 paint colors (20 ml each), 2 cow's hair brushes (No. 6 and No. 14), 1 wood Palette, 1 sponge, 1 cloth and 6 closeable containers for mixing and storing colors. The sturdy wooden box made from FSC sustainable wood has a lid that slides open.

Stockmar Watercolor Paints are known for their excellent clarity, natural transparency, light resistance and scumbling properties. They are produced from gum arabic and high quality light-resistant color pigments. The pigments have a strong yield-value, which means a little goes a long way. Remaining water-soluble, even when dry, is an added bonus.

All the colors in the Stockmar Aquarelle range have been chosen so that when mixed, they will maintain their brilliance and intensity. Harmonious intermediate gradations and boundary-less color blending can be experienced with the wet-on-wet technique.

Tried and tested in art education at school and kindergarten, these non-toxic paints are long-lasting, and color remains vibrant when dry.

• Made in Germany by hand by a team of experienced specialists in a small production facility.
• Mixing:  With a paintbrush, put a dab of paint into a small dish or paint jar and add drops of water with a second paintbrush, then mix together. Repeat this procedure until you have the desired color tone and the paint has an ink-like consistency.
• Experiment: For a brilliant paint, use less water, for a shimmer, add more water. Play with quantities - you need more paint for an intensive shade of yellow than you do for a similar shade of blue or red.
